These past few days in Potes have been adventure filled and fun. On Sunday we woke up early and took a gondola to the top of a mountain in Picos de Europa and began our nine-mile hike. We saw cows, horses, goats, sheep, and dogs, as well as the beautiful views of the Spanish countryside.

On Monday we went canyoning. We walked, jumped, slid, and repelled our way through the canyon for three hours and despite the cold water, by the end not one person was left without a smile. We then went into town for a traditional Spanish pizza dinner.
