During the last two days in Cuenca, the group had been really busy with activities with our Spanish siblings. On Friday we went canoeing in a river outside of Cuenca, then celebrated our last night with the group as a whole at a discoteca with food and dancing. Saturday we spent the day with our Spanish family, each learning more about their Spanish sibling’s daily life. Savannah’s day included canyoning in the river and cooking Spanish dishes with her Spanish grandmother. Sam went to the science museum with his Spanish family and relaxed by the pool. We have since traveled to Granada and are experiencing a new type of Spanish culture.
