Sunday we visited the Prado to educate ourselves on medieval and renaissance art. Sophie’s favorite artist was Salvador Dalí and Niamh’s was Goya. Following the museum, we took a stroll through the beautiful Parque del Retiro. After a day of looking at art and enjoying the park, we released our energy at the bull fight. Amongst the group there are a lot of mixed feelings about this complicated tradition but overall the general consensus was that we were happy to witness it once and now we’re done. 🙂
