Saludos!

We have been enjoying our time in Madrid by shopping, exploring the city, and even taking a day trip to Toledo. Yesterday we toured San Bernabeu Stadium, the home of Real Madrid Futbol Club, and did a scavenger hunt that took us all over the city. Our time here has gone by incredibly fast, and next we will be in Cuenca and meeting Spanish teenagers for day stays.

              

Today we went to Toledo for a day trip. We started at the war museum and went up the Alcazar and took great photos of the whole city. After lunch we met up with our tour guide named Mario. We went to one of the two synagogues in the city and learned all about how the three religions coincided in Toledo. To end the day we visited the fourth biggest church in the world and we’re now headed to a fancy dinner for our second to last night in Madrid!
